Shrine Rodeo 2005
This is the face that greets
you when you enter the gate
of the Delta Shrine Motor
Patrol Horse Show. That
smile should be worth $2.00,
that's the admission price.
Each contestant and horse is
verified prior to entry.
Some of the equipment,
animals and vehicles are
elaborate.
DeMolay boys wet the track
to control dust before the first
event.
DeMolay also man the
concession stand, hot dogs,
burgers, chips, drinks and
popcorn...
Hook up the propane, fire up
the grill.
Most of the cooking was
done by Shriners.
Horse shows are a family
affair and particularly of
interest to the ladies.
All ages participate
There is a fee for each event.
The prizes are stacked and ready.
There are up to 5 prizes
for the 30 separate events. Most of the
entries have several
trophies and prefer a useful prize.
And so the show begins.  Join us next year.
Watch attractive young women and men
demonstrate their skill at controlling their
beautiful horses. A good time for all the
family
and the proceeds fund the Shrine projects
for the year.
